I would be interested to hear your thoughts. My issue is the heat that might be caused at the very edge with the Work Sharp that might burn the edge slightly.

Marthinus The way it was demonstrated to me was to have the blade edge in the guide then turn on the unit thus keeping unwanted touches or scrapes, i haven't gotten to try it out yet maybe this weekend, but i will keep everyone posted on it good or bad but i do think it will be a asset to my sharpening tool bag.
