This may have been posted already, what a day, 2 311's on their way from the yard and wandered over to the SwampRat site for the first time in a long time and notice the 411s are up

I was really looking forward to the RODENT 4, but for some reason, that seems bigger than I had hoped for. The specs don't list a thickness...any ideas?

I was really hoping it would be a 4" blade, and about the same size as a Boss Street. Just looking at the picture, and scaling it in my mind...I'm thinking it's closer to a SAR 4 than a Boss Street.

EDIT: Pic from Swamp.

I believe it is 3/16 and I agree with you, I was really hoping for a BOSS St sized blade as well, I still ordered one, 108.00 is pretty reasonable but still a little longer than I hoped, looks pretty close in size to the RMD

Guess the Rodent 5 is going to be a monster.

Nice looking blade. I have not handled a Rat blade with that handle shape yet.

I wonder if the spec has changed on this one, similar to the SYKCO 311?

I'm trying to think back to the BLADE show pics. It looked smaller. Maybe it is small, I'm just being thrown off by the picture / specs.

Would love to hear from some folks who attended BLADE and had the opportunity to fondle these beauties.

I'm in for this one!

A little longer than I thought, but I love that 4" range.

Seems like a lot of knife for the money! Good looking to my eye too...and I like the sounds of the grind.

Thanks for posting SB!

Wow, this is a real treat for the Busse-kin community. 2 affordable offerings at once. Knives this size see most of the action on my hikes. I have a hard enough time deciding which one to bring with me now, what am I going to do with even more choices?
