the nice thing about a choke in you tactical barrel is then you can put full chokes in for tighter patterns and if you have to hunt with the gun it will help

Thanks for all of the resopnses and input, everyone.
Well, after having shot this thing a few times I now have "the bug". I know I'll be repalacing the forend and barrel with one that will accept choke tubes. Probably buy a few different options for the stock (I almost said stock options) and some type of light.
Now I'm thinking I "need" an 870 in 20 gauge. It will be for my wife, of course.

But my Mossberg was my "Riot gun", until I found out it had an illegal barrel,that I GOT RID OF! I don't mind going to jail 5 nights a week, but I DO like coming home every morning. Now I gotta find another barrel for it. 500C pump.

My thoughts are all over the place with this thing. I might just turn this one into a bird gun and use the 20 gauge as my hd gun.
