This is the line in the beginning of the film and it grabs you. I really enjoyed this movie. The acting was not the best, but some of those are real military and not professional actors.

well it did have her

This movie is everything a military movie should be. It is [color:"red"] pro military. It does not make excusses for the military. It is not some Michael Moore anti goverment, anti military film. It does not make excuses for our military to be warriors. And thats what the military is, warriors.

The action scenes were great, we saw it on the dbox seats that move with the film and it added to the experience.

Is it one hundred percent realistic, no I dont believe so. Was the acting top notch with the newest super duper stars, no.

Did this in any way effect the enjoyment of the film? Heck no!!!

It was like a John Wayne Military film. Ya got a job to do, you do it, and you dont make excuses for it.

The story is modern day and flows well. The characters are like able and easy to keep track of.

If you play any modern shooter games such as Modern Warefare you will find similar things such as maps and some action scenes.

There are some predicable scenes that alot of military movies have but not to the point that it distracted me.

This was one of those films that I did not hear a single conversation or phone call. Not since Black Hawk Down have I experienced this during a movie. You always seem to have someone talking, texting, etc. Not here though.

At the end of the film there were some tears in the eyes of some audience members and something that does not happen often, a standing ovation.

I have never been in the military, Im a strong supporter though. But I will not say it is accurate based on first hand knowledge. I did enjoy it and would see it again on the big scene without hesitation.

It was nice to see a pro military movie. It touched on the private lives of the Seal team just enough. Not so much that it took away from the flow of the movie, like some other films and tv series have.

It also showed the ultimate sacrifice that is so often made for our freedom.

All in all I recommend this film for what it is and Ive said it before and I will say it until I can no longer say it,

[color:"blue"] God Bless our military and their families, thank you all. And a thank you to our Police and Fire personnel as well.

Thank you for the review Sar. Very well done. You conveyed a LOT of meaning in a few words. AND I think you are right, about our Military, Police and Fire/EMS folks. They NORMALLY do not get the recognition they deserve for a job many scoff at even detest, but scream for at the top of their voices when they are in need.

You might not have served, but in my humble opinion you DO have the right mindset as one who IS serving. Thank you.

Was able to attend the opening in Saskatoon and WOW. I agree completely with the review.

I am so tired of movies that trash our military. I have never served, but dad did 21 yrs and I have nothing but respect for or vets, current and past.

Not to give out any spoilers, but it is amazing the world of hurt that can be brought upon an area by properly trained and equipped individuals!!

The wife and I went to see this flick last week. I give this movie a thumbs up, it was great. I also thought the acting was good for not having Hollywood chumps in it. This will be at the top of my list of must have movies.

Hey Dogs, just saw where this movie will be out on Tuesday on Blu-Ray. From what folks said about it, it MIGHT be a must have.
