Or is it a wider one like this

That's a good question SAR . I hope they are like the last pic ! Especially on the 711 and the up comming 911 .

Sar, I would guess, based on NO scientific investigation on my part, that the tang will be more like the first pic for the 3 and 511. Now on the 7 I would say probably more like the second pic and HOPEFULLY the 911 will have a tang like the last pic. Just a guess on my part.

Looking at those pics more you can see the shape of the handle on the 2nd and 3rd pics well . The 3rd pics shows a handle like on the 711 and all the larger knives from Busse and Busse kin . The first pic looks like it had a "mudder" handle and the second pic is clearly of a Regulator . So I would say for pretty certain that the 711 and the 911 would b like the last pic . The 311 and 511 might be a bit smaller because the handle is smaller , but is probably made the shape .
