Since I am now DogFatherless, PATRIOTICALLY sacrificing my Dogfather to one who IS serving, I now find the largest chopper I have is the SOD. A good chopper as we know, but still..... A 911 would be ALMOST as good as having a DF. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Well, being the one who came up with the name "DogFather", and seeing that he has a "Son of DogFather", I think the 9-11 would be the "Brother of DogFather". Makes sense to me! And seeing as the 7-11 price correction bumped it up to where I was hoping the 9-11 was going to be I hope it is in SR77 to keep the costs down. From what I've read from others here SR77 tends to make a tougher big blade than SR101 too. Plus, the Rodent 9 is SR101 and it would help set it apart from that.

I'm a bit on the fence here. I think the 411 with mudders and no choil will be epic! if you bring back the color choices (or at least offer it as a choice between black, tan, green) I think ill be after a few of myself. but the 911 with a Regulator handle would be pretty dang awesome to get my hands on. But when i think about it, I'm still really hoping we will see a 9" Regulator Bowie at some point. I suspect if the 911 is rocking the Reg handles then it would make chances slimmer that we would see a 9" Reg...


So... Hmmm, my vote is for the 411 no choil with jungle green coat and green mudders!

I specifically registered just to vote for the 911.

No handle preference, but I love sr101. I love it because I have chopped my chopweiler into concrete (accident), knots in wood, and batoned through a nail (accident), and the edge is still great, with just a small chip from the nail. This will take me 10 years to sharpen out because it holds an edge forever. Plus it is easy to sharpen. I could go on, but let's leave it at that so I don't embarrass myself.
