With the 911 going for $170, I have a hard time imagining a Scrap Kuk going for less than 2 bills, especially with the extra material and labor that would be required to produce it. I think this may be why we haven't seen one yet. My willingness to pay $300 is simply a testament to how overwhelmingly awesome I think this knife would be...just thinking about it gets me all excited!

Man, it doesn't even have to be mondo thick like those forged HI Kukris. Just make it from 3/16 stock. I have one of the original CS Kukris in 1095 (before the Carbon V). It's only 3/16" thick and chops great. Oooh, differentially tempered SR101. And put a resiprene C KUKRI shaped handle on it, like Shiva intended.
