I have a scrapivore LE that I was thinking of playing with a little bit. I was thinking that darkening it with gun bluing would look pretty cool and maybe some black and blue micarta handles. The question I have is, does anyone know if someone has put slabs on a voir, and more pertinently is anyone making prefabricated micarta handles?

There is no one that I am aware of making prefabricated handles. Here is a link to a fellow dog who put some wooden handles on their scrappy. BLueing would look cool. Lemons make some great looking patinas too.

I've seen someone do a ketchup, mustard, mayonaise patina--looked like case hardening by the time it was done. Pretty cool.

I used ketchup and Mustard on my Brkt Gunny. I only left it on for a couple hours, not TO bad, but it's not all that deep either.

No. That was a stripped black one. I halved a lemon and stuck the knife through the sides of the halves. Only left it for like fifteen minutes.

Here is my scrapivore after some blueing and bleach treatment. I think I liked it better after I blued it before I soaked it in bleach, but I still like how it turned out.
