Not much to explain . I stripped it down. Now its getting sent off to RichardJ to be thinned down a little and have a satin finish put on! Its wild. I dont know if it would be quench coloration or heat treat coloration but it has an oily look on the blade. Pretty cool actually.

I just used lacquer thinner. Nothing too special haha. I wanted to sating finish it then make a fruit salad with it to see what kinda of patina it will take on.

I prefer this surface finish to the machining lines on some of the larger basics.

Hey Hook, if you look REAL close to the first pic, it almost looks like it was milled from handle to point.

I can just see it on my phone here. Apparently the cnc program is giving a finer surface finish. Hope the future knives will be similar.

I don't mind the milling lines as long as it keeps the price down.

Cool pics.

The coloration is similar to the SS4's primary grind, once stripped. However, this one is missing the INFI dimples on the sabre flat

Nicely done, Steeley! I love strippers

Strippers have a place in society and should be treated equally.
