It was really wet, but our new hikingboots kept our feet bonedry, eventhough we had water up to our angles several times. Had brought my new Hultafors axe. Great piece of hardware! Making walking sticks to poke for finding good footing Just something watery Only access from the bog on to "dryland" My girlfriend was pretty sceptical, but we managed to cross Yard Keeper and my girlfriend's Merrel boot Girlfriend being a good sport about being dragged trough the bog Low sun through the forrest In summertime meateating plants grow out there Batoning with the Yard Keeper. An italian brand of hiking and climbing boots. I am really impressed with them. Super comfy and they won't let any water in. Unless you foot is completely underwater.
