Took a trip out to a bog the other day with my girlfriend.
It was really wet, but our new hikingboots kept our feet bonedry, eventhough we had water up to our angles several times.

Had brought my new Hultafors axe. Great piece of hardware!

I actually don't know, but it was the shoestring they came with. It does look like it though.

My boots are La Sportiva Thunder. An italian brand of hiking and climbing boots.
I am really impressed with them. Super comfy and they won't let any water in. Unless you foot is completely underwater.

Now that looked like a great day out in nature . Great pics and thanks for sharing . I find these threads motivational as far as getting out there too .
