Hey dogs! Thought it was time I piped in for a minute since I been out for a while. New job=no free time !

Anyway after seeing mIketheknives dog father post I thought how beat up my lovely DF is and don't remember a post of everybody's beater. So here it goes. My knife that has seen the most abuse is my DF. This knife has made two shelters and chopped countless logs and hasnt been sharpened yet. It still push cuts paper with ease.

Thanks goes out to a fellow dog for this beast. I told you I would beat her !

Let's see your beater!!!

Looks like it has reprofiled quite heavily. Is that your own work? Looks like it could chop through anything.

Ireash , Pitman , nice wear on those knives . I can't wait to beat mine into that condition .
To me a knife looks better that way than shiny and new . Because it's not just a knife anymore , it's reminder of many good times and maybe some hard ones . But memories none the less . That's the sad thing about a beautiful shiny safe queen , it's doesn't stir any memories or emotion .

Busse , Scrap Yard and Swamp Rat are made to be used hard . So use them , enjoy them make them look like they have been part of many good times !

See I have more knives than I can ever use.... that is both good and bad, I have to admit with more I have them as much for the craftsmanship involved as their usefulness... That said, since I am all "grown up" I have not bought a knife that I don't see a use for (if that makes any sense at all). My Godsons are pretty happy about my buying and taste in knives though, at some point the light came on for them that once I "bundy off" for good they are going to end up with all the sharp metal I own...I did however suggest that it was a little rude to me nominating preferences WHILE I WAS STANDING THERE...!!!!!

So Andy, what are we looking at here, Capt. Kangaroo, Rudolf, or stag of Aussie?

That would be a Kangaroo that was to later become a meal or two for my Fur Children...
