The snow around here is gone enough that the ground in the back is dryish so I went out to play in the fire pit.
I love to baton some kindling and light a small fire, let it burn out and start again.
It's great practice and it teaches you what works, what doesn't and gives a lot of insight on the knives/tools used.

LOL! I was gonna say, what's a fire? Haven't been able to legally create one of those in a few years due to the drought conditions. Too weird...

The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

HEY ! If you fellas down in Texas can't make any fires , you might as well ship all your knives up here to people who can put them to the hard use chopping , splitting wood and making feather sticks for fires like they deserve ! Want my address ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Snow, that mythical wet substance us mid-westerners never see. As to shipping blades, well we can still play with them!!!
