That smaller Farmer looks fantastic...you wouldn't happen to know the name of the model would you?

Damon, I'm not sure what that model is but it is defitnitely one of Daves "tribal' knives. I carry one of his MDTTs (Bottom) and one of his EDCs (Middle) every day. I love Daves forged L6 stuff. His L6 is my favorite steel that is not SR-101. Both of them cut like razors! Now that I think about it, one of these three blades is with me 24/7. Here are both of em with a RS (to keep with forum rules).

Huh, thought I had corrected my mistake but guess not. My Big Country (black jack knives) model is called the Worker and has the same profile as this big one you reviewed. Works nice, but doesn't chop like any of my Bussekin! Plus the handle material is harder.

BLD, thanks for the reply and the pic. While I like the shape of your MDTT, I am looking for something a little bit bigger.
Thanks again!

That smaller Farmer looks fantastic...you wouldn't happen to know the name of the model would you? Sorry Damon, I didn't see your post. He just called it a "Stabby" EDC. Although seems to me like a lot of his edc's in tribal tend to be a bit smaller. I waited a bit for a 4" blade to come up.

I've been wanting to buy one of Dave's knives for a few years. I just keep waiting for that perfect one to come along.

Thanks again! No Problem Damon, I hope it helps. Dave seems like a pretty decent guy in the dealings I've had with him you could probably just email him and tell him what your looking for. On another point he had an EDC close to the shape of mine for sale the other day that had natural burlap handles with glow powder in em. If i wasn't waiting for Dan to drop the 911s I would totally have bought it.

Yes sir! I emailed him a couple days ago about making a knife for me, so it looks like I got TWO coming!

I asked him to replicate a one off four and a half inch clip point he made a few years back. He said he'd give it a shot.
