MM, have you used it in anything other than "Ninja in my mind" mode <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

small branches. It works great. I don't know if it will just push brush away or not. But its 3/16" so it should. Of course you can always ask HD if he can put a wicked edge on it...then it will cut anything

Nice to see you again by the way HD <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

MM, the expression I believe you're looking for is "speak of the devil!"

PS am I on your meds? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I won't bore ya'll with the details, but computer issues have kept me from posting pictures except on Facebook. I just can't seem to get my Photobucket working again. But I have not given up. Things have been a little rough lately. At least I have a loving and patient woman to take care of me.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Glad to hear you're up and kicking. You've got a good woman. Any woman from Rochester NY is a good woman <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hopefully you'll get back to good health soon. Anything we can do?

Man this thread was fast and furious!

Basically a B11, BWM, and a Rucki could all be used as a machete if you want. Even if a cheap machete may do it better. I'm gonna have to find more work for my tools to justify having them. The blades from the yard a so great do I have to by from anywhere else?

Look around your place and see if you could use it somehow. Also I gotta find a chore that needs to be done with a War Hawk!

I also don't have handguns...so I make excuses...

We all do this. It's an obsession. I traded in my Cold Govt 380 for a Kel-Tec PF-9 in 9mm. One shot, good bye. Zimmerman already did the research. But would the old 380 work? Probably. Just wanted the latest I could afford (even trade). Besides, knife and gun nuts really don't need to justify each purchase. My wife was ready to send me to VA counselling when she saw all my weapons. Now she accepts me as normal......for a Viking.

You know, a Yard Machete, MAYBE the DogYetti! 1/8 inch thick with an 18 inch cutting edge. Yup I bet a lot of folks would buy one of those. Not sure which handle would be the best, but DAN knows how to overcome something like that and make it "Just Right"! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The B11 and BWM work alright as a machete, if you are going to choose one or the other, the BWM I found better at it than the B11. If you are looking for a nicer than the standard plastic handled cheapie machete, check Fiddlebacks line
