To easily hang it up after hard day of work?

Also no one seems to have noticed the suspense/theatrical value in dealing with undergarments... (female undergarments) - can use it in a brutish way by cutting, or gentleman-like gentle sliding...

More prosaic - breaking of wire, say barbwire...

Cleaning/splitting fibers for cordage...
