So, you may or may not remember; but, my good friend Pitman introduced me to Scrapyard and Swamprat knives a couple of months ago. My initial impression was that I preferred the handles on the SR over the SY but wavered back and forth as both are clearly awesome knife companies. I finally made a decision though and I settled on the Rodent 4, Jeff Law is making a kydex sheath for it with a loop for the firesteel and the TexLock (I believe that is the spelling on that but I maybe wrong). Just thought I would let y'all know what the choice was and the blade and sheath should be in my hands soon, and personally I can't wait! I just hope they arrive before my remaining 10 days of vacation are up, LOL. I wanna play! Once it is all in hand I will try and post some photos, Thanks everyone for all the reviews, photos and opinions. This is a great site!

The Rodent 4 + SYKCO 911 would be a hard pair to beat.

Pull!! It is a great little knife.

I have Jeff making me a sheath as well. Only in leather...

Little does the wife know that I dropped $180.00 on a scope mount for my M1A. Oh boy, the things I need. I am about to pull the trigger on a sheath for my Rodent 9 after eyeballing Gun Dogs. I'm a baaaaaad boy.
