This is another knife that I just cannot put down! What a fantastic design! Quick in the hand, fantastic handle ergonomics, perfect proportions, et. al. - the perfect zombie hunter. I thought that when I got it, I would not be able to get used to the double guard, or maybe that I'd wish for an original TG, but neither the double guard nor the LB treatment take anything away from this killer blade.

Definitely bound to be a classic. If you're on the fence about this blade, I say go for it! If you're not sure about the double guard, take my word that it doesn't take anything away from it. It doesn't impede your ability to choke up on the knife at all and adds some interesting grip options.

I'll take some more pictures of the different grips the blade offers when I get a chance:

few things I notice off top....

1.) The blade shape and tip look really good at an angle

2.) Acutally looks bigger in hand than I thought it was. nice!

3.) You need to be more careful! Two band-aids on the same finger? Man you knew that was coming...

But yup I want one...

It's a little less than 8" -- it definitely is a bit bigger than I anticipated.

I am pretty darn clumsy and have the scars to prove it, but the two band aids are actually covering up burns.... Long story.

And YES you need one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />.

ETA: the tip on the TGLBS is pretty sweet! The shallow hollow grind makes for a good thin edge, but not too thin. Alan did a GREAT job sharpening it too!

Congrats

Is that the G-10 handle?

Also whats the height? Bussecombat (dot)com says 1 5/16" It looks at least 11/2" tall.

I gotta get me one! I know I want a Jungle Green blade, but the handle is driving me nuts!

Thanks
MM

Thanks!

MM. I'll have to measure it another time. 1 5/16" is probably accurate.

The handle is Black Paper. I normally like Black Canvas, but thought I'd try something new. So far the Paper feels fine and I like the way it looks.

I agree with everything you said. A great feeling knife. Would love to score a second for a safe queen because this one begs to be used.

Thanks. It just looks much taller almost as much as a Regulator.
I have a paper handle HRLM, I like it, but so far canvas is king and I'm eager to try out Busse g-10.

Actually I just measured my Regulator and its 1 5/16"!

The TGLB still looks wider and beefier

I don't imagine too many blades are thicker/beefier than the Reg, That thing is a sharpened crowbar.
