Yep I just found it.well maybe they are bringing it up and paying a developer to make a theme that looks like the old Swamp. seriously though what is the deal with Eric? He's the man.

Registered to Swamp again. The layout is dull. Old was better.

The waters in the Swamp are, indeed, not the same! I miss those green and yellow colors but I'm glad we do have a place to go to!
We would surely miss you Tom if you wouldn't post now and again:-(

What realy stinks is the fact that I can't use my old, face-changing, avatar in the Swamp...

I like the new format, but the atmosphere is still sterile. The site never had a lot of traffic (and I suspect the board being down all the time didn't help).

I had been checking in from time to time and finally found it back up (in new format). Posts here have verified what I suspected when my marginal computer skills were not sufficient to allow me to post: you have to re-register and start over. Right now it doesn't look like too many have found their way back and registered. It is weird to see the likes of Carl and Eric listed as "Junior Members". As Arch said, traffic was always light, but at present it is almost non-existent. Let's hope it picks up. Shame if they don't re-establish old threads.

I just love Swamp Rat knives, but I hang out here. Besides, I'm still listed as a moderator. I never did spend much time on the Busse or Swamp Rat forums. I am a dog in the yard, and that's just the way it is, even if I do have more Busses and Rats than Scrappers. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Actually the Rat chat is busier than it has ever been. Mostly with new folks but its signing right along for now. We will see if it lasts.

I spend more time over here. We have a good group. There are several of us that float back and forth between the two groups. SOme good people over there that stay over there as well.

Hopefully the swamp will keep its laid back nature.
