After playing with a buddy's Panasonic TS4, I decided to get one for myself. I usually shoot with an interchangeable lens kit. However, I have been on many hikes while camping and didn't feel like bringing it with me. In comes the pocket camera.

Not much explanation is needed for these photos.

Yes. Those are my flowers. What? You got something against a Marine decorating his porch?

The rest are from right outside my town house. Yes, duck hunting would be easy here.

Quick review: I like it!

Hasn't seen any abuse yet though. Time will tell.

Nice pics JJ. And nothing wrong with a warrior creating a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. WHERE did you find all those ants? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

They're ants.

I knew that. Just dip them in chocolate and chow down! Or you could always cook them first.

Nice work buddy, you have a right to show them proudly, some beautiful shots. I have nothing against beauty and won't bother to tell you what I think of people who do.

Andy, I looked into the replacement for the Pentax. Looks like a good camera and had good reviews, but my fixation on having the newest model got to me (and you know Olympus announces a newer model the day I get mine). Plus the time-lapse and manual controls are a real bonus for me.
