I think its probably about the fact that they think they are losing a sale. I'll happily buy directly from them, but if I'm saving several 100 $$$ by doing the transfer, I'll do that.

FWIW I had two AR7s.

Both developed a crack at the "thumb" that wraps around the left side of the receiver.

Neither was abused, and I don't know what caused both to do that, but it is a weakness that caused me to ditch and go with the Papoose.
