Ok, so which will make the better chopper? This would be a 911 vs a through hardened BR to keep this apples to apples.

11-11? You all are thinking too small. Bring on the MOAD!

I'm not looking at this as a fighter, but a chopper. Stabby tip ain't my primary interest--that's why I have a Rucki <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I might just be, but when you consider a B11 weighs just over a pound.... I think carry weight is often overlooked, but it is important. The SYKCO 11-11 would be the poor man's B11. You could almost buy two of them for the price of a B11. If Dan releases one, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The MOAD would be an awesome blade, but practical is something it would never be. I think the penetrator tip is never a bad idea in a knife, even if it isn't really a fighter. You never know when the extra penetration could come in handy, ie. bear attack, self defense, zombie apocalypse... Thats the only thing I wish was different on the B11, it would be perfect with a penetrator tip.

There was a comparison thread between Camp Tramp and 711, and I think conclusions will be almost the same in the 911 & Battle Rat pair - slightly narrower blade and more 'stabby' tip (CT had more of a curve than 711, making 711 penetrate better).

I don't remember, was there a chop off between the two? Could figure the same general results with the 911 and Battle Rat.

Have to go with store pricing I figure unless you like the looks of the BR more. Maybe at Knob Creek they will have some 911's in different colors as well...that would be sweet! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Yea, I needed a change and happen to come across that pic. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Probably change it again once that Challenge 911 arrives. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

That might effect which one is my favorite 9 incher too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

One of those would look great with my 911 when I get it.
