Very cool. This is our first. Any pointers / advice? Roll with the punches. We've enjoyed it thus far. I did something most don't get a chance to do....I took paternity leave AFTER my wife, so I got to spend about 8 weeks at home with just me / him during the day. It was freaking awesome. Granted, I had to work remotely as much as possible...which sucked the life out of me. But, from 9-5, I just played daddy. 6-9 and 5-10, work.

4 month old....that can be tough at times...and will get tougher till about 3 years old....then things get a little easier.
Sort of...other issues keep getting tougher

Yeah, seeing that now that I'm back at work full time. The whole drop him off at daycare and pick him up...then he's only awake another 2 hours kindof sucks!!

From 3 to 13 with a kid is great. They go bad at 14 LOL LOL. I learned a LOT from my older brothers. I learned what "not" to do. Rule #1...don't come home drunk and try to fight dad. He WILL knock your [censored] out. Found out in later years from a highschool buddy of his, that he was one of the guys nobody messed with. You wouldn't think it seeing him as a 40-something at the time.
