I drove near Livermore last weekend. I was out in Woodside for a trail run.

Ya about an hour and a half away. How you like it out there?
Good to see another Norcal resident here. We have a few.

Vacaville is good. It is in the middle of lots of cool places. I moved up here for the access to trails and running events. Norcal has one of the best trail running scenes.

I work two miles from woodside. Great trails out there. I love that area.....but you have to be a Rich SOB to live there!!!

I have never heard of Vacaville till I moved up here, just wanted out of LA real bad like.

Seriously! I almost took a job in Marin but I do not think I could have afforded food!

Other than Disneyland and the beautiful wom....er....scenery, I cant stand L.A. too many people. I cant stand SF for the same reason. Its nice to visit once in a while but man....

Even the Gas is like 35 cents more than in Livermore...Im thinking...WTH???? that is taking advantage of a situation right there!

My wife and I are still a bit hesitant to go to SF. I have driven thru and would like to check it out, just a bit much.

how big of a town is Livermore. Vacaville is almost 100000 peeps.

80,000. Still has the small town feel though. BUT, they are building a big mall in between Livermore and pleasanton which I could have done without....

I would take bart to SF. No hassles parking and you can get almost everywhere in the city by bart and city train. parking in the city is either impossible to find or an arm and a leg in costs. But SF is Def. worth VISITING! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
