Crash axe is 1/4" and kd is 3/16. Crash axe has about 1/2" more cutting edge and the finger grooves on the neck are nice

wider blade, different angle.. a bit shorter though.

For hatchet type work its great, i have a gb small forest axe for larger axe chores
