Do you know what the exact thickness is? Dan said it was .090 But even with that I think that if you are VERY careful about putting lateral forces on it it will do a lot of the bush craft jobs folks always talk about. Face it, I would imagine a lot of the "Frontier" blades were pretty thin as well. I would agree with you that the blades of yesteryear were much thinner than todays standards. Definitely can't put lateral forces on the Scrapmax that's for sure.....

It definitely fills the niche well that it was intended for though, which is food/game processing.

Well we got to go to wally world for a bit. I'll be a while. There's nothing around here, gotta drive about 25 miles to get to ANY size town. One way the town is 35K. The other way the town is 8k but they both have a wally world. guess we'll go to the smaller town.
