I have PharmD (pharmacist). Y'all gotta go to school about as long, or as long as a nurse don't ya? Our Sheriff (my boss) son went to school to be a pharmacist, but would up being a cop instead, then a few later went back to school and is now a nurse.

I have PharmD (pharmacist). . My dad's a MD tried to direct me away from the field. Got a biology and chemical engineer degree, worked 3 years on industry. Went back to school and here we are.

A regular school first and it is usually closer to 8 years

Yes, in fact it's a doctorate degree, and you can do specialty residency. Actually in nursing you can go into specialization. To me Doctor is no more important than nurse or pharmacist. All have their importance in the field
