Unless you are seeking to do high-end professional type work, the Nikon D70 should be a great camera choice for wildlife shooting.

Are you finding that you are having an issue with it for this kind of use? If so, what issues are you having?

Do you wear ear plugs, or do you enjoy the noise?

I have a friend who is one of the heads of a big, Fortune 500 type company. He sometimes takes me places in his super-fancy sports car. It's extremely noisy.

He says that the car is partially deafening him, but that it is worth it, for the therapy it provides him to decompress from his stressful job.

I likes it loud. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> There is a raceway about 30 minutes from my house. Anything else is just at the discretion of the law.

no issues. havn't had the time to start yet. my only current lense is a nikon 18-200. works fine. but might need something better for reaching out and capturing wildlife.

How fast is the fastest you've driven your Camaro?

Some wildlife likely will require longer than 200 mm, to capture as well as possible. I use lenses up to 1,200 mm.

But there is actually still quite a bit of good wildlife photography that you can do at 200.

What kind of wildlife do you have an interest in photographing?
