I actually bought 3, reasoning someone down the line would need one and not have them available. Sure enough, a couple months ago (I think) I sold my spare off to Alaska so a Fellow Dog could give it to his daughter.
I've made profit on one blade, (I am sorry Dog) and after it was done I felt really bad about it. The rest have been what I paid plus postage. Integrity means more than what little profit you did make on that blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

The 311 blade is 3/16 inch thick, ok add a couple thousands for the coating, but the steel is 3/16. I know that, but Ganza specs say .250 I was confused by this as well. I suspect it is not a misprint but a fatty for all the chubby chasers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I put a stipulation that if it's that fat, I'd rather not have it. We will see.

Dan later said it was a mistake and it was supposed to have been fixed. I don't think it was corrected. Dan did say that the 311 is 3/16 inch thick. So unless they came up with something special just for the ganzaa.....

Although I believe the Res-c handled knives are still functional even after they've lost the res-c. You could burn it off and paracord wrap it if it came to it..... Or send it in for rehandling. Rehandling is fine, but say you're out in the wilderness and your main knife has a short and narrow tang for a handle...
