I'm saving for a VEPR if I could just stop buying knives.

Want one in 7.62x54R. I love my Mosins so I thought I would try it in semi. Ammo is dirt cheap.

that would be a good way to go.

keep saying I'm going to pick up a mosin just to have one around. always find something else to get into with that money.

with the same idea of investing in a caliber I'm thinking of getting a rossi ranch hand in .357 an doing the papers on it. would make for a nice toss in the trunk gun. maybe figure out how to get a scope rail on it and get some glass with quick detach base.

think it might even be interesting to look at reloading .357, .38. and 9mm somewhere down the line.

was trying to find a imi timber wolf and it got me to thinking how much I could do with .357.

Mosins are great. Super accurate for something that old. Really cheap at this point but eventually the supply will dwindle and the price will go up.

~$100 for something that powerful and still cheap to shoot. I makes sense to have at least one around. just don't see many in the gun store that I usually make it to. most those stores would close by the times I was getting off work. now have time and don't have as much expendable cash. probably would've bought one a week 6 years ago.

I usually pick up a couple at the local shows. Can't beat the price.

Hey guys..

Just letting everyone know that I'm still around. It seems I was rewarded for making JYD with a sever case of the mange (otherwise known as strep to you two-legged brothers). This pooch has been dog tired. It feels like I finally caught the milk truck I was chasing.

Anyway, I will be back posting once I'm feeling a little better. Until then...

Stay cool,
Dres
