I saw this and thought I should share. I guess its because I have a little girl now. Or maybe because we were in the hospital for what seemed like forever after her birth. There were many complications with her birth and we couldn't have had a better outcome considering all the things that went wrong.

When we left and all of those babies and parents were still in the NICU (many of those parents had no projected leave date). I knew we were the luckiest people alive. Our daughter seems perfect to me even though she is not and I couldn't imagine life without her. I know how horrible and helpless we felt to leave her alone in that hospital every night. So I can only imagine what this family is going through.

Well Jerry is calling out the Hogs and I say we show them what the Dogs and the Rats for that matter can do. Here is his quoted text and the link is below that.

[QUOTE=Jerry Busse;11079299]
Our dear friend, super talented knifemaker, and fellow HOG, John Kiedaisch, has asked for a little help from the HOGs. His 7 year old grandaughter Hanna, was diagnosed with leukemia last Tuesday, and is still in the hospital due to complications. He and his wife are asking for people to send cards for her, since she loves getting mail.

So help spread the word and let's HOG bomb this little angel with get well cards!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Please send your get well wishes to Hanna at the following address:

Hanna Ackerman
C/O John Kiedaisch
11043 Denny Ave
Mokena, Illinois 60448

Hanna and her family are in our thoughts and prayers,

Jerry, Jennifer, Katie, Paul, Maddie, and soon to be Luke

Very sad for anyone, but more so for someone so young. We're in.

This is unfortunate, and I will be getting a card today. May the Lord be with this family and help this little one to a recovery.
