I'd say good morning, but after watching the news and seeing the shooting story, doesn't feel so good.

From what i gather, it was 1 individual with a couple of pistols and a rifle. They mentioned he had thrown some smoke grenades before he started shooting and had on some sort of combat armor.

We'll not know all the details for weeks, i would guess. Such a tragedy.

Just did some grins and giggles tabulating. In order to hit 50K by Dec 31st, I have to AVERAGE 37.4 posts per day. Not real sure it is gonna happen, but it will be interesting how I, along worth those trying for their JYD status progress.

Ya think we'll hit 175 JYDs by the end of the year?

Heed my words Dogs, the tragic occurrence in Aurora, will not bode well for our cause, PEACEFUL lovers of guns and knives. It will be spun as just another example that these most dangerous weapons can not be allowed in the hands of the population.

Another tragedy. We should be ALLOWING "The People" to arm themselves so atrocities of this sort can be stopped when they first rear their ugly heads.

You've got proponents and opponents on each side of the issue,and they both will have good and valid points. But I PERSONALLY believe that people, honest law abiding people,without any mental issues should be allowed to arm themselves so they can protect both themselves and their loved ones, and yes even others. When the Police, which congress by the way, has stated DO NOT have the responsibility to protect the individual citizen can not in fact protect us.

Well, we got some much needed rain last night. With the rain came a nice drop in temperature. A lot cooler today and hopefully through the weekend. Maybe my grass will turn green again.

So good to get some rain.
