will maybe stat trying to catch some catfish on the reservoir end of the week or so. last time everybody but me pulled a bunch of tiny ones out. they all used chicken liver so that's what i may try on the lake this week. take it out to the res around the end of the week.

I would take chicken liver and set it in the sun for a day then use it to fish with for the next few days. Stank to high heaven but it brought in some nice catfish.

We used to pull all nighter catfishing trips. Fish till the sun came up sleep till around 1 ish then fish for bass until dark and then back to catfish.

when it cools down I'm going to start doing whole days. way too hot to stay out there right now. but I see some guys just dropping boats when i taking it in. would love to have a boat to fish the shaded areas as the day rolls in but no way I'd be out there mid afternoon in this heat.

park I'm fishing in also has a trail that runs right up on the pearl river. don't know anything about fishing a river but I'm guessing the cats in there are going to be a pretty nice size. give it a shot...

Catfish like structure. If there is rubble or structure like a bridge you can find some nice ones. A blue cat in a clean river is somethign in itself. Big muscled and usually pretty tasty.

Just took three of the kids fishing. My three year old daughter pulled out her first two fish--both big catfish roughly 2 pounds and three pounds. My five year old daughter pulled in three sunfish and my 12 year old son got a blue gill. Lots of fun!
