20 years in the AF, Philippines, Korea, Japan overseas.
Texas, Idaho, Nebraska, North Carolina, Aleutian Islands stateside. Well the Aleutians weren't actually stateside but they belong to us.

Dad was in the Army in the 60's. He was blinded in one eye by a bb gun when he was younger, but still enlisted and served a hitch, plus spent 6 more years in the National Guard. Nice My dad graduated hs in 68. He was in the process of enlisting. Had talked to a recruiter and even had a appointment set up to go in and sign. One or 2 weeks before that happened he rolled his car and lost his left hand. He was so mad at himself, he wanted to serve so badly. Might have been a blessing / cyurse..had he gone he might not have made it back and i wouldnt be here lol They wouldn't let Dad go to combat, so they made a Drill Instructor out of him. He was stationed at Fort Ord for a while at the AIT school there.
