I still think it will be an elmax blade, and 13" is too much for his new horde

You may be right about the handles not being a new design, but it's always a possibility if Dan wanted to use new handles on future designs....

If the blade were 5/16" thick I would imagine it might be a full flat grind, otherwise that would be a pretty hefty blade....

The more I try to figure out what this blade will turn out to be the more excited I get about the FDM!!

Definately! But I just remembered that the 611 proto has a reg handle on it, and I don't know what thickness those where at

wife asked me last night how many more knives I plan to buy. Told only two more, this one and the next one.

It's over 470 pages long, I wouldn't call that dried up
