Well I am stoked to get out to Mingo today. The back side is our favorite part. That is where we have gotten all our mink pictures and where a mink actually bit the toe of my shoe!

But the last few years we have had bad ice storms (damage), and flooding and it has drastically changed the home territory of the animals, but they are gradually starting to come back up to where they can be seen from the vehicle.

Most of the animals on the refuge are so used to vehicles that they just look up and sort of go ho hum and go on their merry way, UNLESS you get out, then all you see is candidates for our animal Butt book!
