I never warmed up to the nessmuk style Me either Bill. Nothing wrong with it, it is a proven skinner and it can of course be used for other things as well, but I just haven't taken a shine to that style of very curved blade.

For some reason I am getting a real desire to buy a 300 wsm or 300 winmag

I am making two dinners
Stew for my youngest daughter and my oldest daughter's boyfriend, they will be eating it for lunch all week
Then I made my wife her favorite maple syrup beans
It is cheater style but Pauline loves it
5 x 14 ounce cans of pork and beans
2 teaspoons of ground mustard powder
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup of chopped onions
6 cooked strips of bacon crumbled
Cooked in slow cooker on low for four to six hours
