I thought about 2 but there's no way I can pull that off unless I win the lottery

finding that I'm not a big knife guy. they just don't get used for anything pratical. hoping as I start doing more outdoors activities I will be able to enjoy justify something past 8". for now the FDM is is great and will get assigned to zombie duty. 4"-6" blades get put to work.

suspect its that price too but hope is just under $250. Dan and Jerry both aid the price is pretty low.

I agree with ya there my R9 is almost too big to do anything with but when we go camping it's gonna get put on firewood processing duty

I like my 511 it's a good all round size for me and heck of a knife...I put a mirror polished edge on it with my edge pro and man that gave me a workout that's some killer steel that sr101

I tired to used my M9LE in the kitchen when I first got it... did some damage to the counter top that day.

that edge should last me a good long while

like sr101... i still a but sharpening challanged but can get a working edge on it when I need to.

what do you use to sharpen

I think I'm gonna get a belt sander to do my bigger knives I think that r9 would crush my edge pro if I tried to sharpen it lol
