it would be easier now that I know to use a sharpie to mark the edge and find the right angle to be at

Ireash can you remove the platen on it or do you have enuf room to sharpen knives without it gettin in the way?

don't know how I'm going to handle my mod7 when it comes time to sharpen it. slight recurve with serrations. and it's quickly becoming my go to blade...

I have 1/2" stones for my EP and it handles recurves pretty well did a great job on my ZT350

Ireash can you remove the platen on it or do you have enuf room to sharpen knives without it gettin in the way? For convex you want to remove it. Never really tried with it on because you want it to reprofile the edge.
