You start with the intention of what you want to communicate, and then seek to find and properly combine the elements that fit, in order to make the composition speak as you desire... and never pay any mind to someone's notion about what angle of light has the most striking appearance, or what subject placement in the frame makes the most striking design. They are speaking those notions without knowing what you are trying to do.... I do understand that!
