Finally out of the ED 2 hours after the end of my shift. We are holding a bunch of admits and still have a bunch in the waiting room. Not fun this evening or yesterday!

Emergency rooms are a lot like jails, never lacking for customers. But in your job, a lot of them I am sure are not really emgergencies.

.You know its a bad night when you go bail your drunk driving girlfriend out of jail and get your butt whipped by her an hour later. She went back to jail kicking and screaming. The boyfriend suffered an ear bitten off and his nipple was nearly bitten off. I don't think either of them fared well tonight.
