Once I found found busse kin I was out off by the fact that the knives came without a sheath. I also had a custom knive and the sheath for that one was falling apart and it was only a year old. So I did the research on how to make sheaths I decided I liked leather a lot better then kydex for a knife. So I went to Tandy leather and started on my journey. The sheath I made for the custom blow my mind I didn't think it would come out that good for my first sheath. So once I new I could do it I was now ready to get a busse kin. So enter the 711 the ultimate camp knife. I challenged myself on this one by wanting to have it mont to mollie. The more I'm around
The busse kin the more I like the way they run there company. I now can put a good edge on a knive and build a sheath for it. And have ment a lot of nice people along the way. YUP, it worked. Can't see any reason that sheath won't last you a long time. Appears very robust and should take a beating well.

Waiting to see if I got the tan 311 in the ganzaa if not I'll be checking the exchange for one. I realy would like to get a MBC. Another idea is to get a scrapavore so I can make piggyback sheath for the 711 and the FDM when it comes out.

I haven´t tried leather yet, just kydex and nylon ones.

I would like to do a kydex and wrap it in leather. If and when I get a 311 that is what I'll try.
