I was thinking he might be waiting for someone to guess what the FDM is. Our guesses might be way off. My guess is the FDM is a 13" De-Regulator Bowie.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> 13" of SR-101 Full Flat Grind .333 thickness 2" wide De-Regulator handle <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/2weeks.gif" alt="" /> All for it except for the De-Regulator part. For me there is nothing more ugly than a DeReg. For the ones that like their Regulators with one arm chopped off it's pretty easy to take a hack saw and sandpaper to it. Or a 4" grinder and nub it down to where you are happy. Just don't make us all have to have it that way. That's a good point, but some of us find Dog Father handles, mudder handles, or war dog handles to be the ugliest things on Earth. Not everyone will find it to be perfect.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought the reason knives have handles is to allow a secure and comfortable interface between the blade and the user...... I usually have to be attracted to a knife before I wanna pick one up and check it out. Sometimes it's the wow factor sometimes it's the look of comfort but something about a knife makes me choose it over everything else sitting there. Everyone has different taste's in what they want in a knife. It'll be interesting to see how everyone reacts when we finally get some specs and pics...
