I know I may be flamed for this but it seems to me that lately the focus of this site has morphed into focusing on post count.

Just sayin.

It's my busy season and I don't check this site out as much as I do in the winter, but it seems that lately a high pecentage of the posts and threads are about achieving JYD and not much else.

No, its not just you. It's turned into a quantity over quality deal lately. Maybe it'll change back once the release with the JYD number is done and over.

You would be absolutely correct. The announcement of a new blade only for members and personalized for JYD's has a flood of new blood. Some of which are pretty nice folks and I hope they stick around.

I'm sure a few signed up and got JYD and will rarely visit again. I do think we picked up a few good folks though.

FDM offer may have something to do with it. I came for the run, and will stay for the quality people here who have been more than welcoming.

I know I made my run for the porch for the FDM, and I wish I could be on here more often. There really are some quality people here.

I registered to this forum shortly before Dan announced the FDM...

I made the run to JYD shortly after that announcement and never looked back.

I originally wasn't going to bother making the run as I didn't really care about getting a JYD # engraved on the FDM.....

But I'm really glad I did because making the run gave me an opportunity to get to know many of the great people that are here on this forum.

My experiences on this forum have been nothing but positive, and I find myself on here daily now just to check in.

I want to thank Dan for encouraging us to post more through his offer.....I'm so proud to be an ACTIVE member of the Scrapyard community. I'm sure others that have made the run feel the same way about it..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I am one of the JYD or Bust benefactors and it sure was a lot of fun. I was a member here for only a couple of months prior to the announcement of the FDM. All of the new JYDs are still contributing to this forum and I am honored to be part of it. This is my favorite place these days and will be for a while.
