Hey guys, just got back from my trip to Banff National Park, too many pics to post in one go so I'll post some here and if there is any interest I'll add the others in future posts !

Yours truly beginning my first real road trip since being in Canada !



We had to make a stop at Hope as it's where they made one of my favourite outdoor/survival movies ever....this pic might give you a clue !!!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Plenty of eye candy as we continued our drive !



As we reached Glacier national park the weather took a real dive, at times the rain and hail came down so hard that everyone had to pull over and wait for it to subside !!!



With the bad weather behind us we cranked up the radio and continued our trip !!!





Eventually we reached the town of Field where we purchased our parks passes for the duration of our stay, this gave the girls the chance to refresh themselves in some cooling water !



Some real nice scenery in this area !



The Kicking Horse River runs through Field ~

As you approach Banff you start to see Wildlife crossing structures across the highway.....great idea !

Hey Buddy, great pictures as always! Looks like you both had a load of fun, no mention of the wolverine though- I guess bigfoot is more common, LOL. Can't wait to see more photos, the wife and I will be there ourselves next week, though we are planning to spend most of our time in the Okanagan Valley and that is where we will do most of our hikes. Thanks for sharing!
