Hey Dan, Me being Alaskan, and spending most of my summer fishing, I've just had a thought, with the super thin scrap max knives of Elmax, Why not bring Back a fillet style blade like the weiner dog, but in 8 inch elmax? Sorry If This idea has come up allready! I havn't seen it though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Seems like a no brainer, my scrapmax has a lot of flex.

Ah, did some digging, and saw that it came up in a poll posted not too long ago, but that just tells me that f me and one other person are thinking it, Dan MUST be thinking it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Why would mudders be gone for good? They were using them as recently as last year's Blade for the CG Muks. Original Basic handles are all used up, but I hadn't heard anything about the mudders. If that's true, I'm one sad squirrel...

found some more threads with fellet knife ideas from back in febuary, had a nice picture of the bird dog and wiener dog. up hear in AK we need at least a 7-8 " blade for the size of fish we have. This knife could be called the Dogfish!
