I love your wifes pic's. How does he afford all the lenses after she break them taking pics of you!

Ok, a couple more. This one has shown up before but this is where we went the other day.

Here's a pic of the actual place just across the Highway.

And here is one of the pics she took of me in front of a Huey.

Hey Randy, what was your job in the airforce? Back in the days...
Nice pics still!

My first two years I loaded bombs, rockets....etc. Basically anything that could be shot or dropped from an aircraft. Then my knees got hurt and for the next 18 years (except for 4 years in Japan for what I call my Secret Squirrel years) I worked in Airfield management, formally called Base Operations.

And just to show my willingness to help, to show my sensitive side, to prove I am not ashamed to do "Women's work", <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> here I am making Mater Juice!

Hey whoever thinks making tomato juice isn't hard has never stood in front of a how stove in the middle of summer stirring cut up tomatoes and then the juice for close to an hour. And THAT is just the cooking! We're not even talking about the picking, washing or quartering.

Next time your Wife or Girlfriend does this, cut her some slack and do something nice for her.

And here is one from Oct of 2010. Patty was in the back seat, we were Eastbound and Patty shot this through the rear view mirror!

Here's another one from 2010 that I took after following this guy from a field out into the woods. Who would a thunk a Ground Hog would climb 7 feet up into a tree.

And here is perhaps one of the greatest pictures ever taken. The picture went from the camera to the computer, with NO editing whatsoever. Patty didn't even know she had this good a picture of it until she was downloading to the computer. About 30 seconds later it was gone. It was taken in March of 2010.

The outline of the bird is almost perfect.

I am seriously thinking about getting Patty a new camera for Christmas or her birthday (Jan 25th). She has been talking about Nikons. Right now her camera is a Canon EOS Xs with the 75-300mm lens.

I want to upgrade her to something better and I HOPE I can find something better (Camera and lens) for about $1000-1200 dollars. Most of her pics are between 20-300 feet, some of course farther and a few shorter.

What would be a good Camera, NIKON first and then Another Canon with lens recommendations?

That is an amazing picture! You should enter some kind of photocompetition with that one.
