Just a quick introduction. I'm "lisantica" which stands for Lisanti in California. If you see a lisantica on another forum, it's very likely me.

What are your thoughts on the rechargeable "Stinger LED" lights from StreamLight? My dad has one, and although a bit larger...I find it about ideal for hunting situations where you need really good visibility when tracking at night (especially around water mocassin infested areas). It has the "ummph" (ie: Lumens), without the bulk of the Mag Lites, and with a longer burn time than my little surefire tactical lights.

I will say though, there is some comfort knowing that if I point my Surefire at something...it has 20-30 rounds of 5.56 backing it up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

As for the Stinger LED flashlight I don't personally own one, but I know folks who do own them and love them.
What is the FDM? I have a lot of reading up to do, should be fun!
