Hi all from up north(Canada).Been lurking awhile, but the fdm fun should lure me out.Just how are you guys and gals getting to a thousand so fast?I doubt I said a thousand things in the last month.I'll try to fire it up.

Thanks for the welcome all.If I can take my eyes off the BF exchange for more than ten minutes I'll get to it.As an ice breaker I'd like to say that I really like my 7-11(so much so I could not resist the 9-11)but it is not as sharp as some of my other Bussekin.Whats should be the first step,a good stropping or you think it needs a reprofile?

Thanks Joe,I would jump right on it but I'm still trying my hand at some cheaper blades.But the edge on the 7-11 is a V bevel?I think my eyes are going sometimes I just can't see the diff between the convex and v bevels

It's a slight difference if done properly. Honestly, get a Worksharp. It's super easy if you want a convex edge. Especially for beginners.
