Stunning! Now slap some mustard and vinegar on it to get rid of the shine... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

While its not for everyone, I can see the appeal. Quality work and I can imagine it in person, as photos viewed on a monitor lose out on so much.

I wanted to do it becuase ive never seen a bussekin taken to that level before. I read a post a long time ago saying how hard it will be to polish one out which just made me want to do it more, and the opportunity rose. The good thing about it being polished is i can still use it and even if it gets scratched. It wont take much to buff them out. Soon ill set up a photo shoot with my good camera to capture it better, its really hard capturing a mirror

Renwax will keep SR101 shining pretty good and makes cleanup pretty easy too with hot water without stripping all the way to the metal. That looks awesome.
I was just thinking about trying something like this on my SHe and a few others. Satin and polished edges clean up so much easier. The SHe is tempting because its full flat with doublecut spine and I think that will make it go a lot faster since ill be doing it by hand
