Sometimes we have to do what we dont want to do. I know how that goes.
I was curious about work. Most prisons dont allow weapons for edc. You dont even get a club? Nope I work mornings and so from 10 to 6 I don't even have keys to get out of the unit if the shtf just me and up to 150 inmates.

My BIL worked in the AR prison system. It was pretty jacked up. They have "interesting" employment standards.

Thanks Hobbes. I have been doing a lot of research on passive solar designs and alternative building practices. I have a plan to homestead in the future, much more rewarding simple life. My wife is slowely coming on board. I just think its a better way to live then the 9-5 but thats just me and my whacky opinion. Sounds like a good plan as long as your wife is on board.

I am working on it GD. My dad is a master electrician so I have learned some things over the years. I have built stuff my entire life so its no real change. I am looking at mixing the best of a few methods and am designing a part tire house/cordwood/use of water tube passive solar house. I could go on and on with this subject. Its really the only other thing I look at when I am off the knife forums.

My BIL worked in the AR prison system. It was pretty jacked up. They have "interesting" employment standards. That's one good thing about being Fed is the hiring standards are pretty high and we get background checked every 5 years but a few bad seeds still slip by once in a while but they usually don't last long.
